Debuting at No. 1 on Billboard's 'Top Rap Albums Chart' this week is Young Jeezy with his third solo album titled The Recession.

The set, which features appearances from Nas, Lil Boosie and Trey Songz, scanned 260,500 discs in its opening week.

The Game loses the top spot and slips to No.2.  L.A.X.  shifted 88,700 discs this week, pushing its total to 327,800.

Still burning the charts at No. 3 is Lil WayneTha Carter III bags up 46,500 units this week.  After 13 weeks, the set has sold 2,362,600.

Ice Cube slips one spot to No. 4.  Raw Footage shelved off 18,400 discs this week, pushing its total to 118,500.

Posted at No. 5 is Shwayze.  Their self titled album shells out 12,100 discs this week.  After 3 weeks the album has sold a total of 77,100 copies.

M.I.A. rises two spots to No. 6.  Kala reels in 10,600 copies this week, pushing the album's total to 302,900.

Right behind her is Nas at No. 7.  10,100 folks picked up Untitled this week, bringing the album's total sales to 372,600.

Entering the charts at No. 8 is Slim Thug & The Boss Hogg Outlawz with their second compilation titled Back By Blockular Demand.  The set moves 9,800 copies this week.

Daddy Yankee holds fort at No. 9.  Talento De Barrio sells 9,400 copies in its fourth week on the chart.  So far, the set has sold 64,000 units.

Wrapping up the Top 10 is Florida rapper PliesDefinition Of Real cashes out 9,000 copies this week, bringing the album's tally to 489,200.

I heard the album. You deserve it pimp. You are using your influence that you know you have on the youth, and doing something positive with it. Yeah, you still got that do what you got to do feel in your music, but real niggaz know what you tryin to do. Keep up the good work.
